Not a fan of the desaturation as it makes the toungue and lips look like one big blob ;)
I think your message was understood, it just needed a little more visual ooomph. |

Unfortunate that this one wasn't understood. I would imagine that it was the younger voters that misinterpreted the concept, as birth control is something that people my age take for granted. The effect on gender relations of cheap, accessible, and reliable birth control isn't something you learn in your average high school classroom.
Anyways, I got it, should have been top 10 IMO... |

| leave it to me to not think of "the pill" - I can't belive you got so many 1's and 2's and even 3's. Maybe they were all thinking of the date rape thing like me and didn't like the idea. HMMM I guess we will never know. |

I didn't want to vote in this challenge as I wasn't positive I'd be impartial, but I would have voted this one of my 3 top picks.
It's technically good, fits the challenge perfectly, and is unique.
Access to relatively reliable birth control had an unignorable effect on modern society, and your shot illustrates it perfectly. Unfairly poor placing for an excellent work. |

Hard to fit into challenge without title. Easily understood, but does nto speak for itself. Good capture, nice use of desat. Perhaps too close a crop, takes a moment to 'see' what is really going on here.

| Great idea. I like that the pill is saturated, but the tongue desat is a teensy bit offputting, imo. Looks like a big slimy frog ;-) |
