$ store tank and ceramic(well not porcelain). Taped two pieces of contstruction paper together. Lit overhead with two small white LED flashlights. Used a pre-set white balance. Camera on tripod with manual remote. Bought the items without remembering the maxim title. Glad something sort of worked out. Shots of this little scenna were the first I've taken in a week due to being bogged down at work. I know this will do horribly but I gave it a try.

Post: Converted from raw in PSElements with a +0.67 exposure compensation. Skew to staighten the line between the colors of the background. Cropped the right in and then cropped from the top down to maintain the aspect ratio. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Layer of curves. Sharpen. Layer of High Pass sharpening and merged in soft light mode. This left the image a little darker than I wanted so I did another layer of curves to brighten a bit. The background was very noisy due to the sharpening. Selected the background and added a layer of gaussian blur to it. Spot edited for dust spots, a thread and some aberrations on the butterfly she is holding and in the background. Resize. Sharpen.

Brilliant shot, the lighting and the dual colour backdrop really make this shot stand out from the rest.

This is great. I love the change in the background color; it really drives the point home - although I would suggest more lighting sources to get rid of the shadows especially with the fairy to give it a softer feel.

I love this. Such a simple studio shot but it works very well here.

A great image, concept, crop, coloration - a bit of noise that would have benefited from Neat Image, perhaps a wide pixel USM as well. Still a third place in my book
