I'd post a neat little gif to give you a ribbon, since this was one of my top pictures in this challenge, but I haven't made up such a gif yet. I think since I miss the boat so often on picking the winners, though, that I really ought to come up with a ribbon of some kind. Great shot, Lesley - quite pleased to see it is yours.
But you really should take xion's advice... |

I gave this a 1 because the dog doesn't look cute and the whole shot is way too green for me. I love pink & blue. If you had done it in a blue field with a pink (cuter) dog, I would have scored it a 10. Sorry.
Hope you listen. |

the last time i saw something like that was when i was cycling to attend my piano lessons... :( didnt got hurt, but it scared the hell out of me. being a small kid is tough.
i like the motion pan, and the effects on the dog makes it look so energetic and speedy.

I'm guessing you're in the back of a pickup driving away REAL fast? :) It's a cool shot, lesley - I could recommend a faster shutter speed, but I am pretty sure you knew what you were doing. :) |

I'm really enjoying these shots of moving, blurred animals. They just convey such energy! Your excellent composition and simply colored background really helps the dog stand out, too. |

One of my favorites. Probably too much motion blur on the subject for some, but I really like the image. |

I'm not sure why I like it, but I do. Everything is blurred and it should be horrible, but somehow it works! |

that's a wild shot, but i don't think your subject is quite sharp enough to avoid being called out for DNMC... |

Not quite there yet.... in my opinion, a successful motion panning photo has at least SOME of the subject in clear focus, whilst the background shows the tell-tale streaks. |

Not the typical motion panning with the subject in focus, but I like the contrasting angles of the lines of motion. |

That looks like a fast dog. :) Too bad it isnt very sharp. It's very hard to photograph animals like this, because they move the whole body, so they tend to be blurred. |

I like the colors and the gradient from dark in the background to almost blown in the foreground. However, you can't motion PAN if the object is moving toward you. This results in the dog being blurred - only the head is kind of sharp. I like the picture, it has a nice kind of impressionist feel to it, I just don't think it fits this challenge all that well... |

Color, texture the great movement of the dog but I thought the main subject had to be in clear focus...anyway, this shot is special and probably unexpected so it's good enough for me to meet the challenge.. |
