What's weird to me with this shot is that I can't tell what they are being held up in. silly putty?, playdoh? It's not clear and that's confusing. Also the pinkish tones take attention away from the matches which aren't sharp enough. your D.O.F. is just too shallow at 3.2, with a static subject you should be able to get the aperature up providing you have a tripod. If not I suggest getting one. The colors look oversaturated as well. Which in general is a good thing on DPC but with this you've gone just a bit too far.

| Very creative and well executed. The only critique I have is that the match heads are a bit soft; this image would really pop if they were sharper. Still, a pleasing image. *8* |
