I gave this a 4 during the challenge in 2007, and now I sit here hovering over the favorite button. My how times have changed. |

In a way it's kinda sad that voters here tend to "look for the obvious" - I'm betting that a good number of them actually liked this when they first saw it, then said to themselves "Oh, but nothing's in focus and there's a lens flare there." Very sad indeed, as they miss out on the shots that actually have life to them. |

Underrated! This just isn't the typical shot the voters are looking for, but at least you found a handful of folks who appreciate the out of the box thinking here! |

This makes me smile. I like the color scheme with the red and yellow, and I like the the lens flare above the squirrel, too. |

The lens flare is the first thing that turned me off. The squirrel is difficult to make out. The background is so bright, it takes all attention away from the subject. |

Hehe.. a bonus point for no cars or bikes, and for still using motion panning! Love the bright colorful background on this one! |

The creativity exuded by this photo may overwhelm the typical DPC voter. -10 |

I like the way the double tail looks. I know it would have been hard, but if the squirrel were in better focus my vote would have been higher |

Not quite there yet.... in my opinion, a successful motion panning photo has at least SOME of the subject in clear focus, whilst the background shows the tell-tale streaks. |

i'm only a quarter of the way through voting, so don't get too excited.
But at least you have something different going on here.
good luck. |

Love the bright abstract composition of the background and the scurry of the squirrel. Only wish the squirrel were a bit bigger and a bit more in focus. |
