This is my old Zenit TTL camera. I still use and love it very much! :-)

The title has another word-play - I love them -, B. C. stands for Before Christ. A friend of mine has a homepage and he put some 15-20 year-old photos of us on it, and he titled the site with the Hungarian definition of B. C. which can be only translated to English with a sentence: "Before man started counting time."

PhotoShop: sharpen / noise reduction, level, crop.

Greetings from the Critique Club :)

This still life is decent, but I think your depth of field may have been too shallow. The exposure level on the black camera is also a bit weak. A lot of the detail in that area is lost. The film canister on the left is also a bit out of focus. The 'depth' of the setup is fairly flat also. There is not much 'dimension' to the image. Maybe a different arrangement would have worked well. Your lighting is good.

Keep up the good work :)

Thank you all for your helpful comments very much! This was a last minute submission, I know I should have spent much more time with it. Next time I will pay attention to all those things you have mentioned, I promise. :-)

Ah a Russian camera! Nice set up, the lighting is pretty good, although I am missing some details on the camera being lost to darkness. That and the tape on the side of the camera is all I can really comment on, otherwise it's good.

Nice toy... Like to see a little harder light behind the camera to wash out the background... +1/3 to 2/3 stop... Make it float in air... ;-)

Not a bad composition, but you lose all your detail because there is not enough light. For example, you can not tell where the camera ends and the flash unit starts...

the focus is a bit dull here and the contrast seems a little high. the subject doesn't get much of a response from me either.
