The reflection spoils this. Could be better if it the contrast was boosted and the image cropped.

A polarizing filter would cut those glares out that are over the numbers 9 and 3. That would be a big help to the photograph.

Sorry for the comment yesterday, it was a bad day. The clock is too centered in the photo with bad reflection from flourescent lights, also off color from the same. Generally in the photography world hand on a clock are set at 10 and 2 or 4 and 8 not a dead fast rule but if you look at almost any add with a clock or watch in it you'll notice it. A tighter shot would have been better. Now for the big argument around here, does it meet the topic? Time stands still = life stand still?? If this is what your after then I would have to say no it does not. If you are simply taking a photo of a clock then possibly it does and I will score it under that assumption.

BAD LIGHT

A different idea no doubt but the flourescent lights really hurt you on this one. If you had been able to get higher so they would be a factor. Also the focus is just off and the lack of color or contrast really makes the picture a bit dull. A 3

Not bad for a first attempt. Watch out for the glare...it can detract.
