stick in the water on the first day my lake froze, not much more to it, i guess it was a bit of a stretch for this theme! |

there's something so odd about that intrusion into the expected texture. it's really striking. 9 |

Zoom in on the Duck or Goose would help .... |

This could have done well in the currently running Minimalism challenge. This shot is both minimalist, and the main subject is small. I like the way the water fills the frame, the textures and tonal transitions are yummy, and so is the overall dusky feel.
If not for the title, I would not have thought that that's ice on the little stick, so the idea of the winter's entrance is not working for me in this photograph. 8 |

Not sure what this is. The ripples on the water seem too out of focus to me and there is too much blackness in the foreground. |

What is it? Practicing for the Minimalism challenge? :D Wish I could appreciate this image more, but having no idea what that is in the water just leaves me scratching my head wondering what you are trying to say here. Sorry, not working for me. Good luck. |

I don't understand the title, but I love the photo. |

I love this image - As a fisherman it couldn't be better - The smooth ripples and the exposure is great - Is it pushing the "Entrance" theme? Maybe just a bit but I do love it. Well done |
