| stick in the water on the first day my lake froze, not much more to it, i guess it was a bit of a stretch for this theme! |

This could have done well in the currently running Minimalism challenge. This shot is both minimalist, and the main subject is small. I like the way the water fills the frame, the textures and tonal transitions are yummy, and so is the overall dusky feel.
If not for the title, I would not have thought that that's ice on the little stick, so the idea of the winter's entrance is not working for me in this photograph. 8 |

| Not sure what this is. The ripples on the water seem too out of focus to me and there is too much blackness in the foreground. |

| I love this image - As a fisherman it couldn't be better - The smooth ripples and the exposure is great - Is it pushing the "Entrance" theme? Maybe just a bit but I do love it. Well done |
