:)

was out takin pics of the sunset and the pretty green grass loooked so welcoming :) it was almost dark out so i kept the shutter open for 3 seconds :)...

annnyways... pretty minimal editing on the portrait... as i mentioned previously... i'm trying to work on making the best of natural lighting and managing manual settings so that when it comes to editing i don't have to do much.
-crop
-adjust levels
-increase saturation a tid bit
-unsharp mask
-warming filter

PS: im still itchy from the grass. egh! :)

Great composition Shannon. Your hair flows well and leads the viewer into the main part of the image - You. One thing that stands out to me is the right hand side of your face, which is fairly bright, but this is fantastic when contrasting against your eyes. I have noticed in a few of your other images that your eyes are very strong points in your images and they often convey so much emotion. Gorgeous eyes, and a great shot.

I'm jelous. I wish I had a pretty model for my self portraits. Very nice shot, and I'm with everyone else in surprise that you were able to hold still for 3 seconds. I bet your eyes were watering just waiting to be able to blink.

This is one of those images where I call almost feel and smell the experience. It's been a long time since I laid down on grass and stared up at the sky - thanks for bringing back the sensation. Well done.

Very beautiful. The hair is positioned just perfectly, and the look on your face and the position of your eyes is perfect. It works so well with the lush green grass. Just lovely and pleasant to look at.

What lovely use of natural lighting. Just goes to show that a lot of light is out there even when you think it isn't. Great color in this.

I'm a sucker for black and white photos (they always seem to win over color), but I have to say I like this best. It helps convey a very happy, dreamy feeling. And your hair is gorgeous! *Jealous*
