This is good, although the blown highlights distract my eye.

Nice diagonal formed by geese with river/lake leading into distance.

Wow, looks cold, nice in B&W

nice use of B&W when faced with high contrast. Think you needed to be lower for this shot.

really like your choice of B/W here ...

It's always nice to come across images where you can just tell the photographer knows exactly what they are doing and they are getting the shot they want and not something lucky. This is one of them. I like everything from the composition to the editing treatment. Probably won't do as well as others because it's not bursting with color and such but I think this is a pretty darn good photo. Good luck.

Dang; you made me count them! Not a lot of detail but the composition is nice.

I like this. It gives us an entire vignette/scenario vs. just a closeup of the birds. Nice diagonal line of the shoore with some added texture in the ice and the foreground. 7

I like the b&w treatment: it's a winter scene, it's cold and stark, there's little vegitation, etc. I also like how all the geese are looking left, as if something is going on and they're poised to go check it out. Perhaps more effective use of the Channel Mixer could be employed, given Advanced Editing here, to draw the geese out further from their surroundings; as is they blend a bit too much IMO. Nicely captured scene.

Lovely. I like that this is in black and white as well!

Rio Grande? I like the geese and in their habitat.

The overexposed ice/snow on the water really detracts from the geese. I like the texture of the mud and the diagonal segment of it, though.

Nice simple shot. The B&W conversion is well done.
