Hey, no kidding, it is quite similar! I love the way peacock shots framed like this have a 2-D feel to them because of how shiny their feathers are. |

Great use of the frame, I love the colors in this one so vibrant and contrasty. I like also the composition with the slight tilt of the peacocks head it really gives this photo depth.

Nice one Jaimie! This one really works - good strong frame-filling composition, with the peacock's head and neck off-centre; focus is crisp; colours are good. The only downside is that it is very slightly over-exposed, but that is only really apparant on the white patch around the eye. It ws good to get down to the same level as the bird, and that is something that you might like trying to do more often when shooting birds and animals (and children for that matter). Hope this helps a little. |
