The "negative" of yesterdays shot. It is a reshoot this time with lots of lights to washout the background and my face.
Still quit a bit of dodging to get the smooth white.
The problem was that when I shot this I forgot to place myself on the left side of the frame for the "complete negative" effect so I had to select mt face and move it around. Stupid me, I used lots of time to try and accurately select my head until I realized the background is even white throughtout the image so that it didn't matter. In the end it took about 3 seconds to select....oh well, you live you learn.

Has more of your whole face than the other... I like this version. Lots of interesting light at your eyes as well. The high key, or "hot colour" effect is done well, and doesn't seem unrestrained. Good job.

Man you are creative! I like the way you "blend" into the background.

This turned out great! I like how the colour in the eyes came out. Like Judy said, might be worth fooling around with to make a dyptich.

I really like the blown out "HOT" sense of the lighting. It works to create a high key image. Might be fun to make a dyptich out of the light/dark versions. I like it.

awesome idea... would look great next to each other in a gallery. I think the same point would have come across nicely if it were a white background with the half shadowed face but not blown out as well.

Very good high contrast. I love how you did day eleven black and this one white.
