 rotate 90cw, resize to 720x, sharpen(not USM), save for web.

I know i'll get hammered for the, um, imperfections in the paper. Oh, well. It took forever to get it close to how I envisioned.

How I did it:

**Disclaimer** DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME (like I did), ELECTRICITY IS DANGEROUS. Touching the bulb base or exposed wires could cause serious injury or death.

The lightbulb is taped to a wooden dowel. I sodered (sp?) a cheap extention cord directly to the bulb and taped the cord to the dowel. The dowel is supported by a piece of pegboard. The blue paper has a slit, barely visible (hopefully), to allow the dowel to pass through. The bulb is about six inches above the paper. An sb-25 with a cardboard snoot/barndoors is lighting both the bulb base and the background "swoosh". The bulb is lit via the hidden extension cord. I set the shutter speed to expose for the bulb and the aperture to expose for the base and BG.

A clever shot with nice color contrast. I only wish you had more space between the bulb and the background so the halo of light from the bulb didn't show there.

well composed, brighter area in the black background above the bulb distracts a bit
