Don't worry, it's not real blood (although I did consider that :-P )
it's magenta ink for refilling the inkcartridge mixed with hairgel (yes..) for more substance.
the title maybe a bit dramatic but i wanted it to look like a tear of blood.

Superb shot. Very good execution.
what i like is the cleaver use of space at the bottom of the photo. It gives the dripping "blood" a sense of suspense. Well done!

I was just trying to think of the name of this flower only about 15 minutes before seeing this photo. So, what is it? Is it some kind of lily?

Nice illustration-like photo. It's a symbol of sorts. Symbolism is a useful art to develop and be able to use.

Powerful image that definitely appeals to the emotions. I imagine it would have scored very well. Looks sinister and pure at the same time.

I looked on two calibrated monitors. I can also see the whole flower, but that's because the background has a tone. I checked in Photoshop and the lights are definitely blown. It is still a great shot, wish you had entered it in Free Study.

I love this image. I think the lighting is a bit bright here and could really use some color for a dramatic standout but I really like the it. What exactly did you use for lighting and the backdrop?

Strange picture. Where did you get the idea of mixing ink and hairgel? The drop looks almost like it has a little bite taken out of it. I like the detail on the outside of the lily.
