 Backyard, used Tamron SP 2x with Canon 70-300 IS, cropped, adjust levels, contrast, curves, D&B, USM... there are dozens of these critters in the yard... this is the best shot I could get, leaving it for the last day:)

I think the lighting and colors on this are so incredibly beautiful. And the texture on these interesting animals is awesome -- and you have captured it all PERFECTLY :)

I like the use of the frame and lines you have created with the tree and the creatures back. These work really well. I like the lighting attempt here and it is a good dynamic. I do think the background is a bit busy, as the blue sky circles seems to take a way a bit. I think the white balance might have been just a little off. The biggest issue though it is too sharp, as the scales look un-natural as they get closer to the camera.

Great colors and focus. I like the textures you caught here. My only suggestion would be to use the advanced editing to dodge the shadows a little on the iguana to bring out a little more detail and help it stand out a bit more from the background. Otherwise, good shot.

Sharpness is good - too bad the shadows are so dark. I would have liked to see more of the spines on his back.
