I got heaps of comments during the challenge...and many thought that my entry was set up. Well yes and no. This is our bedroom and yes, he did pose for the shot...but only during the actual renovations. Here is the entry -
and here is another shot taken 4.5 hours later.
By late afternoon there were no walls or ceiling. We were hoping to have it finished by now but with a few delays...well. But we have put in new insulation, power points, four downlights, new ceiling and walls. We have yet to put up the cornicing, window frames,paint, italian tiles and the lights. Then we just have to build the built in wardrobe and under window drawers. Our furniture is waiting to be delivered.
For the record...we DID NOT paint the ghastly pink...nor did we paint the rest of the house yellow. The previous owners did that....and were proud of it....ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
The only thing that was consistent in that room, we found, was the type of acid the builders were tripping on at the time of building. Honestly those men had no idea what they were doing...for example...this house was built on the wrong block of land...I am not kidding!! And it gets worse...but that's a different story. LOL!! |
