| What a neat shot of an unusual habitat! The texture of the cactus dominates but eventually leads one to the cavity. Great shot! |

| Would be perfect if the pecker was in focus. Also, because it's dark, some fill flash (but not if they are nesting) |

| How cute that it lives in a cactus! If you could bring out the red on the head and lighten up the face a little it would really highlight the bird, I think. |

| I love the way you captured his environment. This is a saguaro? I would have considered a little dodging on his face to bring the whites out, but still a really nice photo. |

| I would have dodged the bird's face to make him stand out more here. Great compo otherwise but also the green of the cactus is a little dull I think. It is a difficult shot to make work though. |
