| Sheesh. This is a great interpretation. In a sense, it's a perfect abstract, in the sense of abstracting the essence of something. |

| This is a very interesting shot. What I like most is the effect that the processing has on the surrounding snow. I don't know if the lighting is from the processing or natural but I like the way it tightly surrounds the foot print. |

| Yeah. Personally I think it's a well-toned and detailed shot, but you were always going to get killed by the strict DNMC crowd. Shame. |

| Hmmm, I thought this was a very interesting entry and scored it accordingly. I especially liked the OOB entries in this challenge, and thought you did particularly well with the cool processing. I also kind of think the track has an anthropomorphic look to it - almost like a face grinning back at you. |

| I am shocked that this ended up where it did. Please don't be discouraged by how narrow minded a lot of the voters here can be! This really is a good photograph, and IMHO fits the challenge very well. |

| Hmm... seemed quite obvious to me it was a deer track, and that assumption was confirmed by your title. So I'm not gettin' that folks didn't get what it was, but that's neither here nor there. I did suspect this might be yours - I think I'm beginning to recognize your processing, which, as always, is excellent. |

| Being very strict here, challenge did call for animals in natural environments, not just tracks. Excellent photo apart from that, love the colour and the clarity. Sorry, 6. |
