this shot wasn't easy to take.
but thanks to my model jon for his patience and courage to pose naked in a church for about 20 minutes...glad the priest wasn't in town!
the light from behind the door is a 160w bulb on a tripod and lighting from above is a flash with some conically rolled paper in front to get the circle of light on the floor, which should have been a bit smaller in diameter, and i'm also not 100% satisfied with the lighting on the body and the pose, but hey, it was my first "nude" shooting and so i was a little nervous...;) oh btw this is my first challenge as an official member of this site (*yaaay*), so be free to take a look at my new portfolio

I like how the angle you've chosen makes your model look almost like a giant, over-sized for the building, making them look even more out of place.

Either that or your model really is huge or the building really small or both...anyway, I like that aspect of it as well.

I love the photograph a lot, but something about the movement of the person and the way his hand it out bothers me, It'd appealed to me more of a still thing so it'd kind of radiate a more calm.. which is the feeling the grays and use of light does.
Personal opinion, I dont like humans though... in almost any photo, sodont take it personally. =]

Very artsty shot. I'd be worried who was beyond the door if I was dressed like that! *smile*

I like the way the floorboards lead towards the door in the direction the figure is walking and the tonal range is good. One suggestion, I would lighten the shadow that runs down behind the figures' right arm and down the right leg to try and add a little detail as the solid black shadow is a bit harsh.
