| Nice example of the challenge theme ... and an elegantly simple image. That said, the use of shallow DOF doesn't highlight a subject so much as highlighting use of shallow DOF. ;-) |

comments: I like this. At first I thought the blurred part was just it's shadow but then realized it wasn't. Very nicely done. This is one of few I have seen that truly have gone shallow. Good luck. |

| Interesting idea and it does fit the challenge however there's not a sharp enough focus on the part that is supposed to be in focus and there's a part of that where the highlights are completely blown. |

| I'm sorry !!! I don't recognize what that is in the shot, which really doesn't bother me, it's the white background that I think takes away from it.I think a red background or something brighter would have given it a more "wow" factor. |
