 We were in Fiji when the Challenge was announced, and so I thought of this shot by the pool...simple.

I used my macro 105mm 2.8 to make sure the depth of field was right so you wouldn't see the tiling in the pool.

I am not sure how it is going to go. All I did was sharpen this in Picasa actually, resized in Photoshop and that's it.

I like the colour and the drops of water on the petals. I also like the swirl of the pool water and the light.

Can it get to 6.0000? Let's see.

POST: 20th place is OK I guess...it was simple and minimal and a great reminder of our holiday in beautiful Fiji

Really nice, Enzo. I didn't vote on all of these. Beautiful tonal quality and the movement of the water adds a nice bit of texture. Congrats on top 20.

Congratulations on top 20 but I expected to see this finish much higher. Beautiful colors. Sorry I didn't have time to comment in the challenge but I did find the time to vote it a 9. : ) Lovely!

ooooh, what a lovely combination of colors. did you crop this? it looks kind of long. Any way, I love plumerias, water, and blue so you get a 10 + fav :)
