 several layers (dunno what I pursued), gaussian blur over the background, tight crop.
not gaining much advantage from Expert Editing.

The hand in the picture does not make sense to me. Maybe it is there to show how little the teddy is.

If you had cropped out the hand it would meet the challenge better, and would be a nicer image.

Seems a little awkward with 'Teddy' on your hand. A pillow might have been less distracting perhaps? Just a thought. The texture of the walls is a nice touch. At first I was thinking that some fill lighting would help, but after consideration I kind of like the extra detail/texture that the directional lighting adds. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.
