Nice textures and tones. The blue helps bring interest to this otherwise boring sign. 8 -danny |

Visually interesting. However, I must admit I'd be much more impressed with this image if it were a painting or drawing rather than an artistic photo. As a documentary photo, though, this would be very nice, at is captures a real, uncommon, and beautifully-colored image. |

What a superb catch. Lovely colours and shaprness. No visible barrel distortion. Great texture. Simple and fun. Black border would have been probably better, but no points taken for that. Love your photo. |

This is a very interesting picture. I'm sitting here trying to figure out if the black "shadows" behind some of the letters are holes, missing paint, just shadows, or what. The colours on this are lovely, as is the focus. Where did you find this? It would make a good book cover picture, IMO. ~9 |

I really like the different colors and textures shown in this image. Fits your title so perfectly too. Good lighting and focus, the border helps enclose everything but I'm not sure if the color choice was good or note, its starkness contrasts highly against the richer colors of the photo - draws the eyes a way a little. Great shot (no pun intended)! 7 |

Never heard of the book, but I like the way you've captured this interesting and multifaceted sign. |
