| I've heard people talk of this shot before, but never seen it. Now I have I can appreciate why it's mentioned! Excellent shot. The DOF has got to be practically perfect. |

| Many elements are attractive in this, DOF, focus and lighting are all correct; much larger than life size showing detail not normally seen (isn't that the raison d'etre of macro photography?); the subtle interplay between the frog's reflection on the coin's surface and on the surface of the background; and the background surface is interesting in itself, I'm guessing it is something like a metalflake type auto finish. The similiar color of the coin and the background strike a nice contrast to the rich color and texture of the frog. I'm adding this to my favs. |
