This shot was just possibly the worst i have taken. Quite why i submitted this i dont know. In fact i lie i do know, it was just to enter a shot for the sake of it.
Lesson learned? Do not enter a challenge if you are not happy with the shot. From now on I will only enter a challenge if i am happy with my resulting image.
i noticed i got a 10, Holy god this image is so far from that range i can not see how that person came to this score. Thanks anyway.

Lighting and exposure is very poor. The shadow below the breast doesn't add anything for me, and even if you wanted the line of the shadow as a compositional element it's use is too heavy-handed for my taste. Beyond the technical problems, the composition needs a lot of work as well. Perhaps if you had shot this from a less direct angle. I can't help but think that there are much more subtle and artistic ways to make the point. |

not really interesting. if you are gonna shoot something like this you should use some more interesting lighting. |

Interesting abstract. The bra line is a bit of a distraction. When photographing nudes, I usually ask the model to remove bras and tight undergarments for at least 2 hours prior to shooting to help minimize the lines. |

There are a few things that I don't like about this image. Firstly the lighting is about as bad as it can get.. Never use the on camera flash direct on from so close. It creates hot spots, reflections, and nasty shadows. You can create a great photo by using side window light, or even a bright desk lamp from the side creating interesting shadows.
Also the crease lines indicating that a bra has very recently been taken off don't help the image. Before a nude shoot at least 15 mins to 1/2 an hour without tight underwear makes for better pictures. |

nice simple idea, but a lack of tonal range, and a shadow let it down. Good try. |

A breast does not a good image make, better lighting instead of the on-camera flash might have helped this more. |

This is a bit of an abstract, yes? Lighting is ok, focus is nice. I just find that the composition is a little disturbing in the sense that a single breast in isolation is not "the norm". |

lighting is way too harsh. This photo could be so much nicer with off camera lighting. |
