 Shot with Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR using a Nikon 1.7x TC and fill flash from SB-800 flash.

I had three winter holdover Anna's Hummingbirds living in my yard. Only two survived an extreme cold snap and snow we had, one male and one female. Here is the male.

what a cute bird! I love crimson & gold together and I like how the yellow of the bird is echoed in the twig.

This doesn't look like a real hummingbird to me, maybe because the yellows look too saturated.
