Mary, the DOF is nice here, as is the color. But something about it strikes me as a study of how to shoot narrow DOF as opposed to a subject or presentation that grabs me and makes me look longer. Look at several of the top 10s, including 1st and 3rd. The DOF makes us look at something that tells a story. |

You beat me by 3 places, darn it. Na, congrats. A very simple photo that captures the spirit of the challenge nicely. Love the colors, the uniform blurred background, and the perfect symmetry of the balls...right down to the stripes! I had you pegged for a higher score than this. Great capture. |

Would have like to have seen the second ball slightly sharper. Maybe the first ball would have worked better. Nice shot and composition otherwise.9 |
