I like the softness of this too. The pretty muted tones work well. So sorry for the loss of your camera! |

That's kind of cool, and the softness is good for this scene. Don't try dunking your 40D to get this effect, but you may want to try breathing on the front of the lens to fog it , then shoot a few while it is evaporating just for fun sometime. |

lovely image and great location of a lighthouse...very different capture with the modern buildings in the background, serve as a nice juxtaposition |

The effect worked really well here. The pastels and the softness go well together.
You can always smear some Vaseline on the lens of the P&S to replicate the effect ;-) |

Hey i think it produces a great soft look! I love you colors of the sky and the silohette(sp?) You were probably lucky to save that camera at all! Its a shame it finally failed. |
