| Shallow DOF is implied by the blurred sky in the background, but the background blur doesn't really do a lot to enhance or emphasize the subject as executed here. The image also suffers from a few technical deficiencies: composition, feet cropped out of frame; color muted and muddy; and overall a tad soft. Nice attempt though. |

| The bird isn't really sharp, and the background is kinda plain. Just pointing out things to improve on, not meaning to complain. |
