I must be missing the table here. Nice shot of a sax, but the B&W conversion is kind of muddy. No rich blacks, and its kinda dark, too.

The B&W conversion could be better as it is very grey. I suggest using the channel mixer in PS.

I normally like darker shots, but there is just too much detail lost in the shadows for me. Also the lighting looks "flat" on the hand like direct flash so it kills any since of mood for me.

Needs better contrast, no whites at all in this image IMHO
