Good catch (or nice idea, if its a pet hamster or something). Unfortunately the focus is behind the subject, which leaves the edges unsharp and ruins the silhouette you are going for by softening the edges too much.

Interesting image. I like the amount of contrast in it as well as the creativity of the image. It could use a bit more detail to perhaps be able to see the image in the middle a little more, but nice try.

Nice backlighting! Wish you could see more of his/her ears and tail to really grab the viewer that it's a mouse.

The perspective doesn't really seem "alternate perspective not normally viewed" to me. I like silhouettes, but I think I would like it better if it was sharper on the edges of the mouse and can.
