The lighting on the face isn't that balance. However I do not find it that harsh as I still can see the emotions from her. It's not that shallow but this is a good portrait.

comments: now that's some leathery skin. I'm not sure I like the color tone, seems somewhere between b/w and sepia. Left side of her body and face is overexposed distracting from the real beauty this image could deliver.

Wonderful range from w/to black....nice photo

I don't think the depth-of-field is shallow enough. Without color she still gets a little lost in the background.

great detail, but the guy in the bg is distracting and the arm is cut off...I would have gooten in closer and really picked up some of those lines on the face, then you would have shallower dof...I like the duotone

This is very nice - the sepia always makes the picture look classic, and you captured the detail of her face very well! The only things I might have tried to fix is the person standing in the background, (he's a little distracting) and the shadow over the woman's left eye. (our right) Very good shot.

Nice portrait. Background is still kinda distracting.

Good isolation with the choice of DOF however I feel there is too much shadow on the right side of her face.

Interesting subject. I like the choice in B & W. I think if she was centered and the part of her arm wasn't cut off, it would be better. 5

It's a real shame that the lighting was so harsh - her skin is overly shiny.
