 I thought this would be a good example of a Shallow DOF. With Lemons covering the lime, but because of that, the lime stands out.

DOF is way to deep. Interesting idea, but composition needs work.

Well the wrinkled background is really distracting which would have been taken care of if this really was a shallow DOF shot. But I'm sure you've heard this a million times by now.

Other than that I find the maroon cloth very distracting, perhaps take it out or find a matching color. The crop is really tight at the top for me with too much space at the bottom.

not much OOF in the background....still see the textures of the cloth backdrop.

Good idea for a still life however the forground subject is too close to the backdrop producing a background that is not quite out of focus enough. The wrinkles on the backdrop are quite distracting.

I would have ironed the backdrop & lost the placemat. Both are kinda distracting.
