 Power plant stack. I can see it from my office window. On warm days you can't see anything coming out (steam), but the colder it gets, the more you see. It's almost like a thermometer. When the wind blows southeast, the steam smashes into that office building. I've always wondered what it's like to be sitting in one of those offices when that steam is smashing against your window. I would think you could get seasick from watching it.

The pink in the smoke is from the sunset.

Having seen this previously, I think that I definitely prefer the smokestack on the left side of the image.

Love the blue and pink tones. The softness of the steam against the harsh lines of the building is interesting. Maybe a tad tight in the crop. If I couild change it, I might pan back a bit, but then I don't know what the surrounding area looks like. 7
