I perched the camera on a bean bag, and used the remote shutter release. Natural lighting in our patio. I didn't see the dried corn silk strand until I uploaded the photo onto my computer.

Whatever you do, DO NOT get rid of that cork silk in the middle of the shot. I just love this image, and wish it had done better in the challenge. Wonderful depth of field, and the colors and focus are sharp when they need to be. Marvelous work! Give us more!

The corn silk in the middle of the shot takes my eye away to the left. Came back to look at this one again.

hate the string on top... looks like a bug has thrown a life line to a friend on the other cob. could it have been arranged better to make a more intesting composition?

Very nice. I shot Indian Corn for the last challenge. I love looking at it in all the many colors it comes in. Beautiful.

I like it, but I don't find my eye pulled into any point of the picture, personally I would have lost the thin piece of string (if possible)
