 First entry in a long long time, my beautiful wife and son, he is the reason I haven\'t been able to participate in dpc lately. I hope this one does well, I might have lost practice here.

a nice shot that rises well above the majority of the "baby" shots in this challenge. the expression of the child, plus the addition of the mother and the interaction between the two works well to convey the idea of "good" to the viewer. the backlighting as well gives the pair an iconic impression-not just this mother and this baby, but a representative pair of the "goodness" that is the mother/baby bond. well done - 8.
