another one I like is this. For the main reason of actually making trolleys look interesting. :) and the title definitely makes it work as well. :)

nice leading lines. possibly the vignetting is a bit too much, but a great image. the red really pops with all the greys and silvers. well done. |

A great image. Feels like it needs something in the lower left side to give it a balance, but the dark tones here really give a sense of melancholy related to 'being put out to pasture.' Nice job. |

Love the title. Is this like the elephant's graveyard? |

hi again lisa!!
well, you've certainly made a very boring scene look interesting and very artistic ... excellent the way the light is on that closer trolley ... |

I'm glad you decided on this shot. It really is nice to see the everyday interpreted in a very good photo. I like the red pops and the different angles. |

Pretty interesting find. I like all the grays and silvers with the touches of red. |

Something that easily could have been a boring, mundane photo made into a piece of art. Very well done! |

Wow guys what AWESOME comments - thank you SO MUCH - your words are propelling me to do more and more.
I agree it does look more like a graveyard, but I think I know a place where they go to die, so might find that for later in the month - GRIN!
I found the post processing more challenging than most because when I got to the sharpening the bars on the trolleys looked really unnatural (not the right word - maybe I mean extreme) - even with the most understated of sharpening.
I'd like to reshoot the image in different lighting conditions.

I really like the lighting, with the one out front spotlighted. It looks to me a bit like a military line up for inspection, with the single cart out front being the inspector.
Sometimes the most mundane looking things make the most engaging images by holding a view long enough for us to interact with it instead of it just slipping by in a half second on a busy day. |

Good eye and awesome shot! I love the spotlight effect too. I would like to see everything a little bit brighter. Maybe something you can try on your next editing pass. |

Tee hee. This looks like something Melethia would notice as a work of art. It works. And I'm so impressed with people that see something like this and see a cool photo in it! It really is too :)

I like it! Interesting lighting, almost looks like the one is under a spotlight; but are you sure it's the retirement village and not the graveyard? :P |
