comments sure can be funny sometimes, LOL!
I think one of the funniest parts of the whole thing is that you've placed it in the "nude" gallery... LMAO.
Another funny thing... you can tell from the thumbnail that it's going to be sick, yet you have "Views since voting: 2866", who is really sick here? This all just proves that art doesn't have to be beautiful to be successful... you got a reaction out of people and that's what it should be all about!

I think I'm going to puke. That is one of the sickest (not in a good way) things I've ever seen, including rotten.com |

With a decent attempt at taking a photo, this could have been great (especially with that title)...it's unfortunate it's more of a snapshot than anything.
And the irony really is striking...it's too bad that the photo wasn't thought out... |

oh lord. give it up, i'm not serious about this picture. i obviously didn't take time to "compose" it...and yeah, i'm into photography. but i guess i'm not at all a fan of the whole 'studio' look. i guess i don't see what the point of photography is if you're going to try soooo hard to make something look perfect. You're not fooling anyone, nothing is perfect. look at bush. now, look at all of his followers.....
haha, that too...was obviously to get a reaction.
:) i read these comments when i'm in a bad mood, and walk away with a smile on my face:) |

I don't get the irony part - never read the book some of you are talking about - it just hurts to look at it. I guess I'm not jaded enough to find it funny. I enjoy reading the various takes on it, though, as well as your reaction. It reminds me that times have changed and that's something that gets harder to keep in mind as the decades pass. |

I love this picture, such irony, I mean what do you think would happen to a bird that lost its mother... seriously. |

I'm sorry but this is so distasteful compared to the actual book and while it's a part of nature, it certainly wasn't part of the book. A 1 |

Blunt, ugly, in-your-face and excellent photoraphy. In a sense. Might have been more impact from a beautifully set-up studio shot of the same carcass - the contrast of the perfect/cosmetic studio situation with the toughness of the planet would be arresting. |

Should have used black and white for this, as it is, it's just kinda gross. Also, there is too much context, not enough dead bird to be effective. |

This looks like a dead chick - hardly an appropriate picture for that title, and rather offensive. |

I don't know what you have here, but if it's a dead baby bird I find it very repulsive. |

This isn't weird at all. No really. Let me get you your meds now.
Seems very pixelly but I can't tell whether that's just the weird texture confusing my eyes and brain! (Isn't difficult to confuse them!).
Why did you take a photo of a dead chick? What is that in it's mouth? |

OK. I am giving you a 1. It's not because I think your picture is not pretty. It's not because I think your picture is shocking. It's because I think you do not understand the value of life, the tenderness of being or the dignity of death. In other words, all you did was point your camera down on a dead object and snapped a picture. You didn't even take the time to compose this. |

I've read the book several times. No real connection with this picture. Not even looking at just the title. |

wow, I bet you are getting alot of comments on this one! LoL, Although slightly disturbing it is somehow cute in a strange morbid way if that makes sense lol, although I'm not sure how it would do on the cover of a children's book, but you get extra points for having a sense of humor! 8 |
