 This is the path from the parking lot to my apartment. I tried to catch one ray of sun there. The photo is processed by messing with the color balance. I assure you, it is not that green here in the Sonoran Desert. I wish I had gotten more of a perspective on the path. I tried cropping this and that, but nothing really rocked my world.

Thanks for the input. It was a total experiment and I would have never submitted something like this because of the unclarity. I think I put some blur on it, too. It really lacks depth. The other ones I took without the rays, also didn't have much depth.
Here's the B/W version - definitely has something. Good idea.

While I like the capture of teh sun ray and glare on the building. To me the building needs to be as sharp as possible and perfectly vertical to pull this off. In a challenge setting, it would get killed for the overexposure, but might save a couple of points with crispness of image and level horizon.

Did you try checking this out in b/w?
