 Kookaburra was sitting on the clothes line. I was able to get as close as I liked and also swing the clothes line around to get a better background without the Kookaburra moving away.

Photoshop:
Noise Ninja, Selective colour to tone down whites, brightness and contrast. Crop for squarer shape to give bigger size on DPC. USM and save for web.

Nice kookaburra. I miss their laughter living here in Japan. And the screeching of cockatoos... I miss that, too.
