 World Trade Center, August 2001

This was soon after I got my first digital camera, a Kodak DC4800. Took a trip to visit my dad on Long Island. My brother also went up and our uncle came down from Rochester.

We spent most of the day around Ellis Island. Early evening we drove up from Battery Park to Little Italy, taking the West Side Pkwy. At a red light, I stuck my head out the window and got this shot.

It's still one of my all-time favorites.

This is such a wonderful perspective. I love the way the towers point up into the sky which is my favorite shade of blue. This photo also brings back such strong emotion. It wasn't long afterwards the attack happened. Great shot. You did a wonderful job to have just started with you photography.
