This cemetary is right by my girlfriend's house in oakland. The statue is actually crooked, but shot that as if it was straight up to give everything else a lean.

Like this shot. I must go to the Guadalajara's cementery during this project. Have you been to "El panteón de Belen"? I will try to post some shot.

The tilt on the hill is unsettling, which is a good thing with this subject.

I love the old world craftsmanship in the monuments of old cemeteries. Very nice perspective. Nice DOF.....the lean and the toppled monument give a forlorn aspect to this already bleak vista. Very nicely done.

The DOF is great and the tilted background really sets off the statue.

Fantastic DOF...that lean messes with my head, but I like the effect.

I think you are spot on with the angle, gives the photo an edginess. The grain on the background adds to this, love it.

you did a great job on this photo. The texture of the angel seem to jump out at you.

For some reason, I love cemetery photos. I'm sure I'll post some of our noble looking national cemetery too. I'm glad it's not a gravestone personal to you -- but just a cool photo :) I love it.

Same as both below. The tilt fits too.
