 Taken right next to Holyrood Palace, the Queen's official residence at the bottom of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.

I'd been taking pictures of the fireworks over Edinburgh and decided to go back down to head out somewhere else. As I turned the corner a very large green set of fireworks launched into the air from Meadowbank Stadium as there was an organised display just starting.

I quickly found a place to park (It was very busy!) and set up my camera.

It was such a clear night above the stadium, about two miles behind me I could see the heavy, thick clouds drifting over.

The thing I wish I could have taken out was the few little clouds on the left hand side of the picture... oh well!

don\'t know about this as a photograph. waiting for details

it's such a solid clear fireworks shot. I was confused whether it was a computer trick or real photography. wish I could follow you around and learn more.

anyway I'm leaving it at 9 you lose one point for not mentioning a specific book title

Interesting shot. Looks nice, but could use a little more variety in color. Not sure that it fulfills the challenge.
