 The image is hardly touched. I changed the WB setting from Auto to Daylight and then I had to rotate it 3 degrees CCW to make the sun exactly over the orange. The contrast, color saturation and lighting (brightness) is exactly as taken from the camera. cropped
I had the ND filter mounted on the lens and I used an extra wireless controlled flashlight, which was only 3 feet away from the orange, to help me light it.
I tried for three days to take the shot but the sun just wouldn't come from behind the clouds; In Jordan?!!!, so I drove down to Jordan Valley and got the shot at – 200 meters MSL over the Dead sea.
Hope people will like it.

Well, I'm not a huge fan but this shot caught my eye and I was suprised to find that somebody thought it might have been mine. I must say, I really like it - the 'subject' and timing are perfect! I am wondering, not that it's a bad photo by any means, but why didn't you take advantage of the advanced editing? I wonder how much better it could have been? Hope all is well and take care...Brad
