I not only thoroughly enjoyed the book, but I thoroughly enjoy this tribute as well. Great composition and tones. Your choices of the muted purple tones fit in perfectly with the time period (at least of what would be left) of da Vinci. Outstanding piece of work! :-)

Wow! Full feature of detais. You catch the spirit of challenge. This can be placed as a book cover, without worries. Nice composition, lighting, shading an focus. So can I say: perfect!

Good idea and set up, I am a big fan of Da Vinci, I love the colors he used. You have brought them out well here. I'd probably not have included the inner brown part of the framing, but I guess that's a matter of taste.
