Patio: Thanks. No, I wasn't in a vehicle. This shot, and the one of the lioness in the afternoon -- and all my properly-lit shots of lions -- were taken of lions in a fenced enclosure at a lion rescue facility where they keep lions that can't be released into the wild. So, I'm standing in a watch tower here looking over the fence. I have a bunch of other pictures of lions -- the lion at night picture and the lion eating a giraffe picture and several more that I will post later that were either taken at night or in very poor light. Those pictures were in the wild. So, unfortunately, the only time I saw lions during the day in good lighting conditions was the day I went to the lion rescue facility. All my wild lions were at night, in bad lighting, or at a great distance. |
