My lil sys posing for me for the first time, used a Jedi-Trick for the hoovering Apple.
Has no clue about good name for this one, bt think this is a nice Idea, I know the challenge talk about photograph a fruit or vegetable or both. But the fruit is just a small part of this one, hope it will be okay, but it will not surprise me that ppl will but some flame on their votes because of that.
Mother Natture gives us food from the earth so maybe this will do, worst thing that apples do not grown in this kinda of area :D
Thanx to my friend Skari for loaning me 5D camera so I could get all the element in the picturue I wanted.
And thanx for me litle helper, 5 yrs old son of my syster for heldin the flash, He called this place Penguin-Village, will maybe show why he thougt so in outtakes.
BTW: this place is on Þingvellir Iceland and is called Drekkingarhylur. The name Drekkingarhylur mean Pool of drowning. In the mid-ages ppl woman was drowned there for witchcraft and some other stupidthings. Witch is funny, because the model is acting as the Witch from Snowwhite |

The wide angle lens and forward stretched hand has the hand looking larger than her face in this image. It is otherwise an outstanding image, and looks like it was a lot of effort to shoot.
It is a bit disconcerting to see the hand out of porportion to the face that way.

fabulous background, nice lighting on the model. I suspect this would look even stronger as a larger picture.
It's a purely personal thing but I wonder whether a more distinctive outfit would have helped? Still a strong shot though. |
