I have to say that I do not like this style of portrait very much. I think the main reason is that this style was soooooooo overdone in the 1970s. It really makes these shots seemed dated.

When you redo this one rather than having her looking straight on at you with her body and her face get her to sit facing towards her left more and to turn her face towards you. Be careful that she doesnt tilt her head at an odd angle which is the natural thing to do when you do this pose, keep her head vertical and chin level. I think this will compliment the other shot you have in the background more which I like a lot. I am not a fan of the straight on passport shot which is why I suggest this, it is also more flattering. Hope this makes sense.
