 Trying to get the "School" part of the challnge in the shot, I thought of this. Many memories from piano lessons from my early childhood. The hands belong to my wife and son.

Shot with the 50 1.8 at 2.0 for the shallow DOF.

I thought "a teacher's guiding hand", but if you like "soft touch", fine. I wouldn't know C-Minor of it bumped into me, but you have a lovely photo and a charming interpretation - great focus (I think they call it DOF)and great lighting. I have been staring at the child's hand with highlights and the adult's fingers with highlights - hence my preference for my title ;) BTW the ring is in no way distracting I aspire to your vision...10

What a sweet subject idea. There seems to be a bit of pixelation under the child's index finger (over-sharpening?)....Also wondering if this wouldn't have been more classical.nostalgic in B+W?
