 A first experiment in doing a studio shot.

adjusted exposure; bumped saturation, contrast, and brightness; resized and added border; USM and saved for web via photoshop.

So this ended up being my unintentional brown ribbon attempt. What I was going for was for the stem and top of the apple to be in focus with the rest soft so that the coloring appeared to be washing out away from the "axis" of the stem.

Note to self: If the focus is off and you don't have time to reshoot, don't submit. ;)

I don't see anything that is in true focus here and I can't tell if it was intentional or not. IMOP - I would like to see the entire apple in focus.
